Mary Dubbert, 84, passed away Tuesday morning after a collision on



 Kansas Highway 181 south of Tipton. She was riding with her husband, Ronald Dubbert, 52, in a semi-truck when a Buick, driven by Brian Christianson, attempted an illegal pass in a no-passing zone. The semi drifted slightly into the opposite lane, the Buick struck the trailer,

 and the truck flipped into a ditch. Ronald was seriously injured, while Christianson was unharmed. Kansas Highway Patrol continues investigating 

contributing factors, including road curvature, driver actions, and vehicle dynamics, while the community mourns Mary’s loss.
